Hello! I hope y’all had a great weekend and the week has started off well. I had a great weekend...Sissy Saturday was so much fun. Some of our most favorite people joined us for brunch --great company and delicious food. What more can a gal ask for? Saturday night I went to watch a friend’s band play and they were amazing. Midnight River Choir. Check ‘em out!
Now, on to today’s post! Working in the dermatology field allows me the ability to try a lot of new products before they come out. Some I love, some I hate. My plan is to share the best of the best with you in my new column, Drugstore Derm. Here are a few products I’m currently loving, all dermatoiogist approved:
Cetaphil Oil Control Cleanser and Moisturizer // I was a fan from day one. The foam is perfect at cleaning my face completely. I can have a face full of make up on, and it does the job without leaving anything behind. The moisturizer has SPF in it, so it is perfect to throw on before my make up in the mornings. (I make sure to have a SPF moisturizer on each day.)
Dove Winter Care Wash // I have to admit I am not good at moisturizing my skin daily. In fact, I rarely do it. The winter months are brutal. I found this Dove to be the best at keeping my skin moisturized and looking fresh with out adding any lotion.
Amlactin Lotion // You know that dry skin you acquire on your feet in between your pedicure sessions? Add this in daily (or even twice daily) and you will notice a difference. It also works great for keratosis, aka “chicken skin”...those little red bumps you can sometimes get on your arms, along with rough knees and elbows.
Happy Tuesday, everyone!

I can’t believe you don’t moisturize you skin every day! Maybe I need to look into that body wash.
ReplyDeleteGuess what I did this morning? Moisturized. Yay.
DeleteThanks for sharing these Erin! I'll have to give the cetaphil a try. Removing my makeup is the biggest pain.
ReplyDeleteI have tried many OTC products, and haven't found any I like at removing my makeup. This works great. Let me know what you think. xx
DeleteLove the idea of this column! Definitely going to try the Cetaphil - my current moisturizer is way too expensive! Looking forward to reading more next week!
ReplyDeleteI am glad you enjoyed this. Let me know what you think of the Cetaphil. I think it is perfect. One pump of the moisturizer is all you need, it goes a long way. xx
DeleteI used Cetaphil for years but recently changed to Cerave! Have you tried the Cerave AM/PM face lotion?! It's a game changer when it comes to moisturizing your face!
ReplyDeleteI have not tried it, but since you said this I grabbed some samples. I can't wait to try it today. Thank you for letting me know. xx
